RDLearning is a database of all post-qualifying health-related training courses available in the UK with particular emphasis on research. The database covers workshops, conferences and short courses ranging from higher education institutions, professional bodies, research networks and training organisations. This new resource (April 2002) is funded by the Department of Health.
We hope RDLearning is user friendly.
The navigation through out the site is by 'drilling down' on the item you are interested in. The course detail is the lowest level of information given, with links to the relevant organisation (where available). Once you see a course you are interested in, check any details on the organisations web site (there should be a link from our page) and then contact the course provider who will be able to verify all the details. We always suggest you check with the course provider before applying or registering for a course.
Hopefully you will have found a course that matches your requirements and you will be on your way.
RDLearning contains courses which are aimed towards postgraduate students and professionals working in health care. We have such a diverse range of courses, that they will be something to suit everyone's requirements and interests.
Some course require qualifications, others will accept practical experience, there are some aimed at beginners with no prior knowledge, others aimed at professionals with years of experience. What ever your needs or experience, you should be able to find a suitable course on RDLearning.
Though information about funding post-qualification courses is outside the brief of RDLearning, we have put together some information, which may be useful to potential students. This information can be found on RDFunding, which is our sister organisation, at http://www.RDFunding.org.uk/Background/Student.asp
