Training : Developing a Proposal for a Systematic Review.    30/11/2010
Description: For many researchers, even those experienced in preparing proposals for primary research, the preparation of a systematic review proposal is uncharted territory. This learning event draws upon the experience of the School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield, acquired over fifteen years, in preparing and winning competitive national systematic review bids. The facilitators will use an interactive and tailored format to take participants through the preparation process with specific reference to a topic of participants’ choosing. “Top Tips” will be shared to enable participants to hone their proposal.

Entry Requirements: Principal Investigators and Potential Principal Investigators wishing to be able to prepare, plan and conduct a systematic review of the literature in their chosen topic area.

Further Information: Previous experience is not essential. However participants will find it advantageous either to have been an applicant on one or more primary research proposals or to have participated as a team member in a systematic review project.
