Description: The aims of the workshop are to:
Explore the benefits of PPI in research proposal development
Explore ways of identifying patients and members of the public to help with research design and developing grant applications
Share practical examples of involving patients and the public in research design and developing grant applications
Identify core resources and information to support PPI in grant development

Entry Requirements: Researchers who want to engage with patients and the public in the development of research ideas and research grant submissions. This workshop would be ideal for those preparing a Research for Patient Benefit bid, or a bid to other funding bodies where patient and public involvement (PPI) is valued and expected.
