Training : Making Successful Applications to the Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) Programme.    14/09/2010
Description: This event is for NHS and HSR researchers who want to submit a research proposal to the NIHR RfPB Programme for funding. Ideally participants should have a research idea that they wish to develop further.

The learning event will have four short presentations, each followed by a question and answer session. It will end with the opportunity for one-to-one discussions with presenters.

The four presentations will include:
* An introduction to the NIHR RfPB programme
* What makes a good grant application, an insider’s view?
* Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN) involvement
* An introduction to Patient and Public Involvement (PPI)
